weiler is one of the leading designers and builders of machinery and systems for the production of:

Hollow Core Slabs, in widths of - typically - 120 and 240 cm (4 and 8 ft.) and heights of 6 - 40 cm (3 to 16 in.), for floor, roof and wall applications, in conventional weight and light weight design.

Sandwich Panels in width from 120 - 450 cm (8 - 14 ft.)

Stay-in-Place Bridge Panels, typically 240 x 240 cm ( 8 x 8 feet).

Noise Abatement Walls (if required with pattern/designs on both sides)

Foundation Piles - up to 40 x 40 cm (16x16 inches). (The Illinios Department of Transportation has already approved the weiler method for producing piles used in bridge and road construction)

Fence Posts, Lintels, inverted T-Beams (used for low cost flooring "beam-and-block" building method), other products of similar configuration

Concrete Channels (e.g. U- and V-shaped roof units), double T panels, ...

Our program includes:

  • Slip Formers   - which are the "back bone" of the program, allowing to manufacture all of the products listed above, in 1-, 2- and 3-stage configurations.

  • Extruders for the production of high quality hollow core slabs with compressive strength of up to 90 Mpa (12.500 psi.) and a width of 120 cm (4 feet).

  • Concrete Saws (for manual, semi- or fully-automated operation, incl. the Universal saw allowing rip cuts and diagonal cuts at any angle)

  • Forming Beds, made of steel, with integrated hot-water heating system (piping) and longitudinal rails to support the casting machinery and saws.

  • Stress Stands, integrated with the forming beds.

  • Handling Equipment, for both, the supply of concrete to casting machinery, and finished products.

  • Auxiliary Equipment such as for drawing the strands over the length of the beds, bed cleaning machines.

  • Pre-stressing and Detensioning Systems for strands and solid wires, incl. automatic stressing jacks.

  • Consultation for Plant Layout and overall design, incl. operations assistance.
