weiler offers assembled casting beds, that are delivered in 12 m long welded steel case construction parts. The single modules are filled with concrete while standing on it’s head, turned after setting and then screwed together. Any possible heating pipes are joined likewise. The whole casting bed is post-tensioned as complete production bed later on and takes up an essential part of the tensioning force so that compared to other casting beds the involved abutment foundation can be lessened.

Another advantage of a weiler Steel casting bed is, that it is possible to lengthen the beds or to equip them with detensioning equipment at any time - years later as well, or to disassemble and to construct at another point if necessary.
