A distinct differentiation
is made between a slip former and an extruder as the production machine.
Aside from these, there are also simple concrete distributors or auger
dispensers which are used for the production of basic floor slabs,
rail road ties, etc. on specially designed form beds.
Different products, as mentioned in the opening paragraph, can be
made with the slip former, whereas the extruder lends itself
only for the production of hollow core slabs.
The slip former consists of two components, the automatic feed
unit and the so-called machinery insert. Both components are united
for production. Due to its design features, individual machinery
modules can be dismantled completely in a few manual steps. Different
concrete elements can be made by exchanging the machinery insert.
Different heights of the same concrete product, such as hollow core
slabs, girders, lintels, can be produced by adjusting the machinery
insert and exchanging some components, such as the tube sets for
hollow core slabs. |
