The proper combination
of machinery and plant systems relative to the scheduled capacity
and the kind of finished product has to be taken into account for
the lay-out of a complete production facility. When planning for a
tight production schedule, overlaps of machinery and ancillary systems
must be eliminated. Capacity, concrete requirements, lengths of transport
travels, labor cost, and overall investment must be taken into account
when planning the transfer system for the concrete.
